Privacy and cookie policy

For a full explanation of how we use the information you provide when you use our Site, please see Your Banking Relationship with us, available at tsb.co.uk, our website Privacy Policy and Cookies Information. These policies set out in detail how we use your personal data (including providing and administering financial services products), with whom we may share your personal data (including other companies in the TSB Group, our affiliates and/or commercial partners), and where your personal data is processed (including outside of the EEA). Please read these important policies.

If you are a customer of TSB Bank plc details of the information we collect and how we use it may also be set out in the terms and conditions of the product or service which you hold. In the event of a conflict between the Privacy and Cookie Policies and the terms and conditions of your specific product or service, the terms and conditions of your specific product or service will take precedence.

By using our Site, you are agreeing to the terms of our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, you consent to us using your data and you confirm that all data you have given is accurate.

Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time and will act reasonably when we do so, for example: to make the wording clearer, or to correct any errors or omissions; to comply with law, regulatory requirements, ombudsman, industry standards or equivalent requirements. You should periodically check the Site to review the then current Terms because they are binding on you.

The terms and conditions for each of your TSB insurance products still apply to those products. Nothing in these Terms changes anything in your product terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between your product terms and conditions and these Terms then they will apply in this order: firstly your product terms and conditions then these Terms.

Content

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights in all material on the Site (including, without limitation text, tools, photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not reproduce or adapt the Site in whole or in part without our prior written consent, except for the purpose of accessing our products and/or services and for producing print outs for your own personal and non-commercial purposes. No part of the Site may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission.

Any use of the Site other than in accordance with these Terms is prohibited.

Our and your liability for use of this Site

The Site only complies with UK laws. You may not always be able to access this Site. We are not responsible for any losses if you cannot do so. We are not responsible if the means of communication you use to access the Site or to send us information about yourself or to receive information from us does not work properly.

As we've explained above, the information on this Site may not always be quite up to date or complete. We advise you to check it carefully and we are not responsible for any losses you suffer if you fail to do so unless what we put on the Site was incorrect or misleading.

We are not liable for losses or costs caused by abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances outside our reasonable control, which would have been unavoidable despite all efforts to the contrary, for example delays or failures caused by industrial action, problems with another system or network, third party viruses or malware, mechanical breakdown or data-processing failures. We do not, however, seek to limit or exclude our liability for:

  • death or personal injury as a result of our negligence;
  • or fraud or misrepresentation.
